• Cordova and Germantown students have been named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester.

Alexander E. Creson is majoring is Bioengineering

Sarah Kaitlyn Timmins is majoring in Materials Science and Engineering

Emily Y. Shores is majoring in Health Science

• Wheaton College student Joshua Chung of Cordova was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2017 semester.

To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5-grade-point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

• The Mississippi College Office of Academic Affairs releases the dean’s list after the close of fall and spring semesters each academic year. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must maintain a 3.5-grade-point average, based on a 4.0 system.

The following Germantown students were named to Mississippi College Dean’s List: Chandler Brown, Thomas Gray, Khadijah Jackson, Jennifer Williams and Conner Jordan.

The following Cordova students were named to Mississippi College Dean’s List: Lauren Roberts, Kathryn Winston and Elizabeth Wisdom.

• The Mississippi College Office of Academic Affairs releases the president’s list after the close of fall and spring semesters each academic year. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average, based on a 4.0 system.

The following Cordova students were named to the President’s List at Mississippi College: Amber Bigelow, Anna Brooks, Brennan Bruce, Brooke Bruce, Mary Dunaway, Megan Henderson, Hayden Perry and Anna Stewart.

Carter Santos of Germantown was also named to the President’s List.

• Columbia State Community College named Julie Falvey of Cordova as one of 580 students on the dean’s list for fall 2017.

• Several Germantown residents have been named to the Rhodes College Honor Roll for the 2017 fall semester. To qualify for the honor roll, a student must be enrolled in at least 16 credit hours of academic work and must achieve a semester grade-point-average of 3.85 or better.

They are: David M. Weatherford, Jacob D. Greenberg, Claire B. Payne, Catherine S. Nichols, Margaret A. Myers, Hamid A. Shirwany, Zain M. Virk, Hibah E. Virk, James G. Coleman, Caroline F. Farrell, Sofia V. Karabell and Sapna A. Kedia.

Several Cordova residents were also named to the Rhodes College Honor Roll for the 2017 fall semester.

They are: Evuilynn T. Nguyen, Tamara M. Banna, Bilal S. Siddiq, Zoe I. Gresham, Tian L. Liu and Noah B. Rinehart.

• Samford University releases dean’s lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade-point-average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean’s List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

The following Cordova students were named to the dean’s list: Kathryn Sterling, Sydney Berry and Cameron Dobbins.

The following Germantown students were named to the dean’s list: Megan Lenoir, Kendall Christian, Samuel Bartz, Shian Mallory, Spence Nace, Olivia Sistrunk, Heather Foreman and Alexis Amann.
