Janna Hacker & Associates recently moved into a larger 4,300-square-foot office space in Germantown, where they offer a comprehensive list of therapy services as well as a state-of-the-art sensory gym.

The practice’s new location at 3180 Professional Plaza, Suite 101, offers speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social therapy, applied behavior analysis therapy, preschool language groups, plus additional services such as feeding groups, handwriting groups, bike riding lessons, typing groups, and social groups all under one roof.

The new space features a 500-square-foot sensory gym that includes rock climbing walls, a zip line, monkey bars, slide, swings, crash pads, and a Snoezelen room, which is a soothing and stimulating multisensory environment for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Janna Hacker & Associates is the first private practice in the Mid-South to feature this type of specialized sensory gym.

The sensory gym is utilized for co-treatment among OT, PT, SLP, and ABA therapists and for individual therapy. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and developmental delays benefit from the multi-sensory stimulation.

Memphis native Janna Hacker founded her namesake Janna Hacker & Associates in 2009, a private practice with the goal to help children and adults improve their speech-language, feeding, motor, sensory processing, behavior, and social skills.

Since she began, her office has grown substantially in size to serve Germantown, Collierville, Memphis, and beyond.

Today, her team includes 16 speech-language pathologists, five occupational therapists, a physical therapist, two applied behavior analysis therapists, and two special education teachers.

Hacker said, “Our dedicated, close-knit team is proud to grow once again, giving us larger and newly designed facilities to continue to meet the needs of each child we serve. Our mission is to help our patients and their families soar to new heights, and we share in the joy and excitement with each new skill that’s mastered. For us, there’s no better reward than to help change our families’ lives for the better.”
