Devils lose second game of season

Germantowns Darrell Brown called for the charge against Colliervilles #22 Seena Ghelichkhani

The Germantown Red Devils lost their first game since Dec. 12 Friday night at home to Southwind in double overtime. Up 36-34 at halftime, Germantown fell behind 50-48 to open the second half. After tying the game late, Germantown forced overtime. After trading baskets in the first overtime, Southwind outscored the Red Devils 10-6 in the second extra period to get the 78-75 win. Germantown (21-2) was paced by Darrell Brown’s 27 points. Jonathan Bins added 14 points. Germantown will host Houston this Friday. ABOVE: Brown soars in for the layup.
