A “wall of blue” teamed up with a line of smiles at Cordova Walmart on Dec. 12. Law enforcement officers fropm multiple agencies took eager children on special Christmas shopping trips, courtesy of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 35.
The annual Cops-N-Kids event helps parents provide a jollier Christmas for their children if they need a little help putting presents under the tree.
The morning’s retail adventure is similar to “Shop with Cops” events in other locations.
Germantown Police officers teamed up with fellow officers from the Bartlett and Memphis Police Departments and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and others for the popular shopping trip.
