Germantown home burglary suspect arrested

West Memphis, Ark., police took Jeffery Justin Bay into custody Wednesday night on a Germantown Police arrest warrant for aggravated burglary, theft of property, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony and evading arrest.
The Germantown Police Department is coordinating with West Memphis Police Department in the continuing investigation of this crime. Bay is currently awaiting extradition.
The charges against Bay are related to the burglary that on Oct. 5, at approximately 9:30 a.m.
A Germantown resident returned home on the 3000 block of Steeplegate Drive and discovered a white male inside his garage. The suspect fled with stolen items to a nearby silver Ford sedan, pointing a handgun at the victim as he fled. No shots were fired. Germantown Police identified Bay as a suspect on Oct. 6.
