Legal Notice

IT APPEARING by the attached Affidavit of Susan E. Williams, Esquire, attorney for the Plaintiffs that the Defendant, Rebecca Merlin Jenkins, cannot, after due diligence, be served personally in the County of Shelby, State of Tennessee or the area because the subject has moved from the last known address and no new address is known, and

IT FURTHER APPEARING that the present whereabouts and residence of the Defendant is unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained by the Plaintiffs or Plaintiffs’ attorney, and that the said Defendant is a necessary party to this action;

NOW, UPON MOTION of Susan E. Williams, Esquire, attorney for the Plaintiffs, it is hereby

ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the Summons in this matter herein be served upon the Defendant, Rebecca Merlin Jenkins, by publication of the same in The Shelby Sun Times, a newspaper published in and for the County of Shelby, State of Tennessee, the last known county of residence of the Defendant, and being the newspaper most likely to give the Defendant notice of this proceeding. It is further

ORDERED that the publication shall be made once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks; and it is further

ORDERED that inasmuch as the address of the Defendant so served by publication is unknown to the Plaintiffs, that the Plaintiffs need not forward, postage paid, a copy of the proceedings as the same would serve no useful purpose.

AND IT IS SO ORDERED this 6th day of April, 2015, at Orangeburg, South Carolina.
